John S. Kim, MBA

Director

 

As the Director, John S. Kim provides strategic leadership and operational management for CSHOR including the management of all staff as well as the planning, budgeting, and overseeing of CSHOR’s cross-cutting work with country teams, local governments, donors, NGOs and UN agencies. Previously, John was the Deputy Country Director for Ethiopia.

 

Before receiving his MBA from Harvard Business School, John was a consultant for Bain and Company and a marketing manager for a global toy company.  During his time at Harvard, John helped launch Nancy Barry Associates’ “Enterprise Solutions to Poverty” in India and worked with Ashoka: Innovators for the Public and Drishtee to spearhead the development of a sustainable business model to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to India’s rural villages. John received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
