Justin Yarrow, PhD

Senior Research Associate

Dr. Justin Yarrow is based in Johannesburg, South Africa where is efforts focus on modeling the effects of changes to treatment guidelines, male circumcision and the use of SIMCLIN by local clinics. Prior to joining CSHOR he lead operations research for the treatment arm of the Reproductive Health and HIV Research Unit in Johannesburg and worked for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Prior research topics include, patients lost to follow up prior to ART initiation, prisoners on ART, male circumcision, and health care for sex workers. Justin earned a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology at Harvard University. During his PhD he worked on issues relating to science and technology development for developing countries
